Marina Collard - MFA BCST RSTA
Marina Collard
I have been working as a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist since 2010 and am currently based at HQ Therapy Rooms in Hackney.

Alongside my clinical practice, I continue to work as a dance artist and teacher in professional and educational settings and as a member of faculty at Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Movement and Dance. I enjoy working both as a dance artist and therapist as I find that each of those practices informs the other and enriches, as well as deepens, my curiosity about the body.
Having worked in dance for 20 years before becoming a body worker, my treatments are informed by my extensive knowledge and experience in somatic, body/mind-based practices and years of in-depth physical enquiry, as well as the wide range of treatments I myself accessed throughout that time. I will at times work with slow movement of the limbs or the whole body when movement best supports the client’s needs. Sessions can be very quiet, settling and restorative too.

I have taught a series of ‘Engaging the Body’ workshops in the UK and at the Da Sein Institut in Switzerland. These workshops are both practical and theoretical and are delivered in collaboration with Steve Haines. The practical element is an invitation to engage with some simple movement which aims to increase awareness and the potential for movement in the body.
I specialise in treating adults.
